MiraMatic Warranty

For clarity, the following terms apply throughout this warranty:

Essential Coverage

Covers replacement parts for approved manufacturing defect claims. Labour, service visits, and associated costs are not included.

Comprehensive Coverage

Covers replacement parts and labour for removal, reinstallation, and service related to approved manufacturing defect claims.

This warranty applies to products supplied and installed by MiraMatic for residential use only.

Warranty benefits are provided at no cost to the original purchaser for residential installations, subject to the terms below.

This warranty is non-transferable.

Proof of purchase and installation date may be required to validate coverage.

The final warranty terms applicable to each project are defined in the signed sales contract.

Structural components are covered for five (5) years under Essential Coverage against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

Structural components include:

• Headrails and tubes

• Brackets and mounting hardware

• Clutch systems

• Spring mechanisms

• Cord locks and chain drives

• Internal manual operating systems

• Structural framework components

Labour coverage for structural components applies according to the product line purchased:

MiraMatic Line: Five (5) Years Comprehensive Coverage

Standard Lines: Two (2) Years Comprehensive Coverage

Motorized assemblies, motor gearboxes, electronic controls, circuit boards, wiring, and battery systems are excluded from structural coverage and are covered separately under Motorized Systems.

Fabric is covered for five (5) years under Essential Coverage against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

Fabric coverage applies to defects in construction or material integrity.

Labour coverage for fabric applies according to the product line purchased:

MiraMatic Line: Five (5) Years Comprehensive Coverage

Standard Lines: Two (2) Years Comprehensive Coverage

Textile materials naturally vary within commercial tolerances. The following are not considered manufacturing defects:

• Normal wear and aging

• Pin holes

• Gradual softening or minor dimensional changes

• Discoloration due to prolonged UV exposure

• Minor pinholes or variations within industry tolerance

• Dye lot variations or slight differences between showroom samples and finished product

The selected motor system and its applicable warranty period will be determined during the design consultation and confirmed in the final sales agreement.

Motorized assemblies and electronic components are covered separately from structural components.

Essential Motor Systems

• Up to Three (3) Years Essential Coverage, model dependent

• Two (2) Years Comprehensive Coverage

Advanced & Premium Motor Systems

• Five (5) Years Essential Coverage

• Two (2) Years Comprehensive Coverage

Rechargeable Batteries

Rechargeable batteries are consumable components and naturally lose capacity over time.

Rechargeable battery systems are covered for up to three (3) years Essential Coverage, model dependent, with two (2) years Comprehensive Coverage.

Motor assemblies include the complete motor unit, gearbox, internal mechanical drive components, electronic boards, wiring, and control interfaces.

Electrical work must comply with manufacturer guidelines. Improper wiring, power surges, moisture exposure, or unauthorized modification may void electronic component coverage.

Manufacturing or installation concerns must be reported within thirty (30) days of installation.

Visible damage or manufacturing defects must be reported within thirty (30) days of occurrence.

Failure to report visible issues within this timeframe may limit eligibility for repair or replacement.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Misuse, abuse, or accidental damage

• Unauthorized modifications or third-party repairs

• Improper electrical work or power surges

• Environmental conditions such as excessive humidity, condensation, or excessive heat exposure

• Fabric discoloration due to UV exposure

• Products installed outside manufacturer specifications

• Commercial, rental, or non-residential installations

MiraMatic’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of covered components as outlined above.

MiraMatic shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from product failure, including but not limited to damage to surrounding property or loss of use.

Trip surcharges may apply for service locations more than 50 km outside Calgary city limits.

While labour coverage applies only within the stated Comprehensive Coverage period, MiraMatic is committed to supporting our products beyond the formal warranty term.

After the comprehensive labour coverage period has expired, service may be available at preferred labour rates.

For subsequent homeowners within the original comprehensive labour coverage period, service may be available at preferred labour rates.

All goodwill service support is subject to product condition, service location, and parts availability.

The final warranty terms shall always be as stated in the original sales contract. In the event of any inconsistency or contradiction, the warranty terms outlined in the sales contract shall prevail.

Warranty coverage applies to orders placed after the policy effective date and may be updated for future orders. Updates will not retroactively affect prior installations.
